Grants

Grants: a basic overview of the Student Parent HELP Center funded programs is provided below. Students are encouraged to contact the HELP Center directly to be more thoroughly screened for grant eligibility and to become registered for other program services. These programs are meant to be a partial assistance to offset child care costs, and in MOST cased will not cover all of a student parent’s child care expenses. All student applicants must be registered for classes at the U of MN, Twin Cities campus and with the HELP Center, during the term they apply for any funded program.

ATTENTION: As of February 6, 2009 we are no longer accepting applications for SPRING TERM 2009. Both the Post Secondary Child Care Grant and the CCAMPIS Grant are closed to new applicants until Fall 2009.

Students interested in child care assistance for FALL TERM 2009 and beyond should continue to contact the SPHC to be added to the grant lists for subsequent terms.
